What sort of work goes into caring for a kitten in the early days of his or her life? Whether you’re planning to volunteer or foster with the shelter, or simply want to learn more about caring for these tiny babies, come join us for a free community class at Willamette Humane Society!
This two-hour class will be hosted in the WHS Education Hall at the main shelter on Turner Road with three upcoming dates for you to choose from:
- Saturday, May 19th
- Saturday, June 16th
- Saturday, July 21st
The class is hosted from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., before the shelter opens. You are welcome to wait at the front door and a staff member will let attendees in before the event starts.
We encourage both current and incoming WHS foster volunteers to attend. Please note this is an educational class with limited hands-on interaction that is best suited for older teens and adults.
Our Bottle Baby Kitten Care Classes are open to the public and no prior registration is required. Refreshments will be served. Questions? Please contact the shelter’s Foster Program at firstname.lastname@example.org.
