Good Afternoon Community!
Today I had the wonderful privilege of meeting Quinn and Brooke, from our local Mission Street Dutch Brothers.
I recognized them fairly quickly because, let’s be honest, I’m a frequent flyer to Dutch Bros, and a regular consumer of the large blended annihilators (YUM!).
These gals came in to let me know that after a successful fundraiser, Salem Dutch Bros owner Aaron Eastman, gave them the chance to choose a charity of their choice to give back to.
These gals and their crew chose Willamette Humane Society, and they presented me us a check for our Foster program!
This generous donation will help our foster program which currently has over 200 animals, dog, cat and kitten. Our animals in foster are cared for by amazing volunteers who offer a warm (or cool!) safe place for animals to recover from medical procedures, grow to an adoptable weight, or to give us additional space/capacity to help more animals. Currently WHS pays for everything, litter, vaccines, medical treatment, food, beds, heating pads for kittens, kitten formula, spays and neuters, etc and we rely on donations like these!
Thank you Aaron, and Thank you Dutch Brothers on Mission!
I’ll see you soon!

Rachel enjoys connecting with customers, hearing their stories and happy tails, getting to know the members of our community, both 4 legged and otherwise, and posting to Willamette Humane Society's social media pages, sharing stories of the good stuff happening here.
When she isn't at work, Rachel spends her time covered in cat fur with her 4 (almost 5) kids, 3 cats, 1 dog, darling husband and a partridge in a pear tree.
