Living with a companion parrot is hard to do. Chris Shank knows, she has thirteen cockatoos. These charming, beautiful, intelligent creatures challenge my patience and sanity every single day. Is their companionship worth it? A resounding yes! But she’s learned how to manage the relationships so that they all enjoy each other’s company and do so in a civilized way.
