Dogs on beach

If you’ve ever thought your dog or cat deserved Instagram fame, this talk is for you. We’ll help you set up your channel and manage it properly. And we’ll tell you how to take photos your audience will love.

We have two speakers ready to share with you.

Jean Dion, Digital Content Coordinator at Willamette Humane Society

She has a special knack for telling stories about our shelter dogs and cats. If you follow our Facebook and Instagram pages, you’ve seen her work in action. If you’ve ever wanted your own pet to become a social media star, she can help. Jean will walk you through how to set up a pet-specific Instagram channel, and she’ll give you tips and tools to build a connected audience of fans.

Terri Jacobson, Terri Jacobson Pet Photography

She specializes in photographing pets and their people.  If you visit her website, you’ll see how much care and attention she puts into each photo.  The animals look so natural and relaxed that they could walk right out of each picture!  She’ll discuss how she gets that perfect photo, what equipment and tricks she uses, and what it is like to work with animals and their people.

There is no fee for this event, but donations are gratefully accepted.
