Do you remember the kitties brought to Willamette Humane Society in December by the Salem Police Department? We are excited to tell you that these felines—who we’ve dubbed the Solstice Cats—are doing well and will be ready to meet you on Thursday, February 7.
Our medical team, animal welfare staff, and volunteers worked tirelessly since to ensure these pets received the best care possible. We would like to thank our community for coming together to raise more than $13,000 to fund their care during their five-week stay.
Want to meet the cats? Click here to view our Adoptable Cats section of the website and select “Education Hall” as the location in the search options above the adoptable pet photos. Cats who were involved in the case are noted with a special note in their adoption profile. You can also tune into our Facebook page for a live stream on Thursday morning to see them before we open.
