Shelter Storytime (Kids Event)

Do you have a child who wants to improve their reading skills or gain confidence? We have shelter dogs and cats who would love to help. Shelter Storytime is a program for kids ages 5 to 11 that connects them directly with shelter pets for community reading hours. Please note you must attending Shelter Storytime Orientation and register for each session. Click here to learn more and view upcoming dates.

WillaMutt Strut 2020—Now Virtual!

This year, WillaMutt Strut is going virtual! We’re committed to the health of our pets, people, and community. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak in Oregon, this year’s WillaMutt Strut is transitioning to a virtual, participate-at-home run and walk. Strut your stuff at home, around the block, or at the park, and then tune in on Sunday, June 14 for our virtual paw-ty on the Willamette Humane Society Facebook page. Registered participants will get their exclusive invite to the virtual celebration soon.
