Tyson Falls in Love

Much of the news we’ve seen about COVID-19 has been sad, scary, or both. But sometimes, there’s a bright light shining behind the darkest cloud. Just ask Tyson.

This sweet guy came into the shelter in late January. We’ll be honest. He really didn’t enjoy the shelter. He loved playing with volunteers, he enjoyed his walks, and he loved cuddling with staff. But he missed a family to call his own.

Then COVID-19 came. Tyson moved out of the shelter and into a foster home. And then magic happened.

His foster family watched him blossom. They developed a bond. And then they realized Tyson was in his forever home after all. Yesterday, Tyson’s foster family became his forever family.

We often talk about how foster families save lives. But sometimes, foster pets make our lives whole too.
